Windsurfing
Ok-Surf in Gargnano offers windsurfing courses for our guests. You can choose a quick trial experience or a more complete basic training that will bring to a level of independence with the board.

The key elements of our courses are fun and safety. The outings on the water are always accompanied by the instructors and the safety boat, and our objective is to give you as much time surfing as possible. At the end of the 3 day basic training course, you will have the chance to try for your international windsurfing license.

Courses are suitable children too, from 7 years and up.

A Taste of Windsurfing (2 hour course): €55 per person
Basic Training (3 day course): €145 per person
Children's Basic Training (3 day course): €135 per child over 7 years
Horseback Riding
Located in Gaino, just above Toscolano Maderno (and right next door to our Villa Chiara!), is one of the finest riding stables in the area. Here you can take riding lessons, go horse trekking, and even eat lunch or dinner in the stables' restaurant.

Riding Lessons
For anyone over 8 years of age. A 45 minute riding lesson, perfect for beginners and riders with some experience.
Price: €25 per person for 45 minute lesson

Riding Excursion
For anyone over 14 years of age. Try this "by the hour" horseback trek in the woods and trails of Gaino Toscolano. Some riding experience is useful but not necessary.
Price: €25 per hour per person

Full Day Riding Excursion including Lunch
For experienced horseback riders over 8 years of age. Spend the day out with the horses, riding the trails with an expert guide and stop for a full 3 course lunch at the stables restaurant.
Price: €100 per person per day

 
Fishing
There is a wonderful array of fishing opportunities in this area. Not just the lake fishing and pier fishing on the lake, but also fly fishing in the mountain rivers and creeks, and a couple of excellent trout fishing reserves where you are guaranteed a great catch and a satisfying day of fishing in a beautiful setting.

A fishing license is required for any fishing activities on the lake, in the rivers and valleys, or on the private fishing reserves. With the new simplified license process, you can get the license on your own quite easily, or we can get you a license within 24 hours of the request.
License price: €50, including all taxes and fees
